Funny Conversations

I almost forgot about this one.

We were shopping at Costco a week or two ago to load up on diapers and anything else that we were in short supply of. No, plasma TVs don’t count.

Near the diaper section Becoming-A-Mom started talking with another couple with two kids – one baby perhaps 3 months old, and a small toddler who turned out to be just over 18 months old. They chatted for a bit and then I overheard this:

“Yes, she was born when our first was 13-1/2 months old. You know how people say you can’t get pregnant while nursing? They’re wrong!”

With that she gave a little embarrassed smile and continued on with her shopping.

I can’t imagine having a second baby with Juliette only a year or so old. I can’t imagine Celine telling me she’s pregnant when Juliette is 4 months old. In fact I just can’t imagine having a second child.

Mental note to self: never have sex again.
