Swinging

Well today was another surprise. We put baby Juliette in her little Lovin’ Hug swinging chair with it in the upright position, so she was sitting rather than lying back. Buckled the waist straps but not the should ones. And I removed the tray a while ago, so that wasn’t in place.

The chair was swinging slightly due to the motion left from seating her in it. Suddenly we noticed that it was swinging higher and higher! Little Juliette was visibly moving her torso back and forth, pulling herself forwards at the proper time to make the chair swing!

Neither Becoming-A-Mom nor Becoming-A-Dad had seen that activity before and we’re both astounded.

She’s becoming too smart… and I worry.
