Summer Blahs

Okay, I haven’t written in a while. Not really having much to say, and not feeling like there’s enough time in the day to do it. The reality is that there is plenty of time to do the updates, but my motivation to do so is low.

In fact, my motivation to do things in general has hit a low. Work, blog, hobbies – all are taking a hit. The only thing I feel like doing is sitting at the computer blindly surfing for distraction and playing with baby Juliette.

Perhaps it’s the summer weather; perhaps it’s being exhausted most of the time; perhaps it’s not being jazzed about work. Not really sure, but I’ve hit the summer blahs.

The only thing that perks up my day is seeing little Juliette – even when she’s just sleeping, seeing her peaceful little face is enough to make me happy. And coming home in the evening to have her burst into big smiles and do her happy dance is the reward for slogging through the day.

I seriously need to win a lottery soon.
