My Toeses Is Roses

Baby Juliette has definitely taken a shine to her toes. After only discovering that her feet existed about 10 days ago, she’s now consistently leaning forward to grab on to her feet and pull on her toes. She does this sitting on our laps, in her Bumbo chair and lying down. Apparently her toes are so engrossing she’d rather hold on to them than play with a toy. Hmmm.

She’s not yet flexible enough to put them in her mouth, but I know that’s coming!

In the growth department I had a shock the other night. I put her in our bed lying next to Becoming-A-Mom for her night feeding. It’s then I realized how long she’s gotten – her torso from her shoulders to butt are now about the same length as she was curled up only 4 months ago! Overall she appears as long/tall as babies that are a year old – and she’s not even 4-1/2 months old yet. I hope she slows the growth soon, or we’ll be having to buy some more clothes to make sure they are appropriate for the seasons coming up.
