Blanket Croc Strikes Back

Last night I froze. I had some blankets, about the usual amount, but still I froze. I tossed and turned, shivering while dozing fitfully until it was time to get up. When I looked at the bed it seemed like I had enough of the covers so I was mystified why I was so cold.

She obviously hadn’t croc’d the blankets like normal, so when I got home I took a closer look at the quilt and that’s when I realized what she’d done.

In her nocturnal blanket croc activities, she somehow managed to pull only the down comforter inside the cover over to her side of the bed. So while I had a sheet, blanket and quilt cover, I had none of the down comforter on my side of the bed. No wonder I froze!

I shook the quilt out so that the comforter was properly re-distributed in the cover and put it back on the bed. Ahhh! Warm again.

I almost forgot. Tonight was her first Pre-Natal class. The first two sessions are for women-only, and then there’s a weekend session that spouses are invited to in January. While I’m not exactly yearning to attend these classes I’m curious about what they’re going to talk about.
