Things Must Change

I’m traveling for work right now, finishing a project at a difficult customer site. For the last 3 days I’ve been stressed out and overtired. Two of the last 3 days have been 14 hour days, and one has been 12 hours. My life has been getting up, getting a coffee, driving to the site, coordinating efforts and listening to complaints, drinking more coffee, driving to the hotel, eating dinner, answering emails and then going to sleep. Rinse and repeat.

My team is excellent but some of the customers are high-maintenance and very difficult. The stress comes from having to address their issues which are really not related to what we are doing. The long days and 3-hour time change are also beginning to drag on me physically.

I wonder how Peach is today? I also wonder how Mom’s shift work is affecting Peach – does the baby know that Mom is working at night rather than day?

I’m missing the Pregnant One. I must be having a breakdown of sorts.
