The Diaper Conundrum

We continue to debate the cloth vs. disposable diaper question. Today we priced out how much disposable diapers cost – the cheapest name-brand we’ve seen is $17 for a bundle of 84 newborn diapers. So this works out to about $0.20 per diaper or around $2/day.

Reality is that she’s going to have to deal with the diapers more than me, just because she’s going to be home on maternity leave while I’m working. As a result she gets more say in what we’re going to do and at this point she’s definitely leaning towards disposables. I have to admit that I’m thinking more about that option too.

My caffeine withdrawal symptoms are lessening a bit. Though I did cave and have a small cup of weak coffee this morning.
