The Pacifier

Lately little Peach has been kicking away at poor pregnant Mom-to-Be’s belly. She finds this comforting and always has a look of wonder on her face when this happens – which is pretty common now.

The funny thing is that as soon as she tells me to put my hand on her belly to feel the baby’s kicks, Peach stops kicking! It’s like Peach notices something is different and is stopping to pay attention and find out what’s going on.

Still, I have felt the little critter doing the Mambo on many occasions now. At first I wasn’t sure whether I was feeling Mom having a muscle spasm or something like that. But now as Peach is growing, I’m able to feel the outline of her uterus and the baby inside. Her belly is definitely firmer and rounder where baby Peach is hanging out.
