Garlic Breath
For a change she went out with her co-workers to celebrate someone’s birthday after her shift. They all went to a trendy brew-pub where she had pizza or pasta or something like that. Anyhow she came home just reeking of garlic – so bad when she rolled over in the night I woke up because her breath smelled so strong.
She had a bad night, tossing and turning… errr, rolling back and forth. Later she told me she hadn’t slept well at all because of an upset stomach. I am guessing baby Peach didn’t like the garlic either.
I forgot to mention that when she works night shift I really notice her absence – with her revved up metabolism she’s the perfect thing to keep warm with. Nights she’s working I’m finding myself waking up in the wee hours shivering, despite now having all the blankets to myself. There’s just no happy medium.
