Boom=Kick

For the first time in a long time we went to the cinema to see a movie. Once the trailers for coming movies started Ms. Pregnant grabbed my hand and placed it on her belly. Little baby Pêche  started kicking and thrashing about in mama’s belly, especially after any loud noises like explosions.

I’m not sure whether it was the noise or the vibrations that was bothering baby Pêche. Though it was probably the noise as I found it loud too. The movie itself wasn’t an action show so there weren’t many loud bangs, and proto-baby Pêche settled down.

Another thing that she told me a while ago was that Pêche should be able to see light now. She wanted to test this by shining a flashlight into her belly to find out if Pêche would kick. She decided against it – our flashlights are those piercing white LED flashlights and she didn’t want to be responsible for blinding the poor kid.
