Week 16

2008 September 19

Today is the beginning of week 16 – 4 months! I can’t believe it’s been 4 months so far. Which means we’re getting close to half-way there.

According to her book, Peach is now the size of a chicken breast. And no, Chicken Breast does not sound nearly as nice as Peach, so Peach it remains. Peach, Pêche – depending on our mood.

So Pêche now has complete facial features – eyes, nose, ears, mouth, lips – and the eyes are moving. No longer just a small bag of cells, Pêche is definitely on the way to looking like a baby. A very small and delicate baby, but a baby none the less.

I finally told the rest of my colleagues at work – now everyone in my department knows. Most of them were quite surprised.

Oh, and the best part – I’m on vacation now! For the next 2 weeks we’re driving around the Canyonlands of Utah, Colorado, New Mexico and Arizona.
