The War Drags On

I thought this would be a time where I’d be getting flooded by all the friends and family sending their congrats and asking about this and that. Instead, I’m irritated by all the details of the internecine fraticide that’s going on across the ocean.
She is definitely enjoying this, and is taking a particular level of care and thoroughness in her email responses… careful to think out what she wants to say and points she wants to cover. It’s like watching an email chess game or generals planning which cities to nuke and in what order.
Meanwhile the little Peach is growing away, blissfully unaware of the uproar it’s caused.
