Baby Boom Continues

Another surprise – I found out that yet another co-worker is expecting a baby a few weeks after us. In his case they weren’t really trying and had no idea his wife was pregnant… only after 10 weeks did she finally go see a doctor because she wasn’t feeling well that she found out she was pregnant! I can’t imagine going that long without realizing or suspecting.

He’s quite happy and like me, worries about what’s coming and how to deal with it given the workload. We’re going to introduce our spouses to each other so they can trade stories and talk baby together. Neither of us have a lot of close family in the city so I think we’re going to need all the peer support we can get.
