Appointment with a Midwife

She’s made an appointment with a local midwife group for her first visit. Apparently there’s a baby boom going on – they told her that if she was due in January they wouldn’t see her as they’re already booked up solid.
Must be something in the water.
I mark down in my calendar when the appointment is. I might as well attend and make sure she’s not holding out any info from me. Or embellishing. Can’t trust pregnant women.
